Again, however, we had outgrown our building. We moved to 431 Court Street. It was a much larger building, in the center of town at the time. We needed to add more service vehicles again. By that time, we were servicing Yolo County and all the surrounding counties, and were servicing automobiles, residential and commercial hardware, garage doors and garage door operators, safes and vaults.
Then some other building changes were needed. We wanted our own building. We found a plot of land not far from the current location, large enough for an 8,800-square foot building. So, we began construction of a custom-built building at 128 Court Street. And in 1988, that new building was completed. It has three auto / work bays, a large showroom, four offices and a service bench for each technician. The company now has ample room to grow the business.
Here we are, all these years later. We continue to serve our community, trying to make it a safer place to live and work. We are always adding more services. As locks and security continue to change and evolve, we are there. And as the security industry moves more into the electronic age of locking devices, we are here to serve those needs.
We continue to be a family owned and operated business in the same community for over 70 years. We are a fourth-generation company with David Wallace, his son, Steve Wallace, and Steve’s son, Derick Wallace. So, when you need a local, reliable and experienced lock technician, please give us a call. We are here to help you.
